About The Author

I was raised in the city born in the country, just a country girl at heart. I grew up in a household with my Mama and Dad, maternal grandma, and two younger brothers in a modest 3 bedroom home. My parents raised us in a strict environment and we attended catholic school.

I used to go in the kitchen as a little girl and watched my Mama cook. I was her little helper all the while I was learning how to do different task in the kitchen. My mom helped me bake my first homemade cake at 8 years old with and I have baking every since. she helped me with the whole process. Then, I baked different things on my own and have continued baking throughout my childhood into my adult life. Baking is truly a passion of mine and my Mama as as well. I would help my Mama bake sweet desserts during the holidays and sometimes when there was no occasion.

My Mama and I did a at home cake business making all kinds of desserts. We took cake decorating courses togethers even though my Mama had been decorating and making cakes for many years. And I operated a home baking business for over 27 years. Baking is truly a passion of mine and I love doing it.
